Baked White Cheddar Mac and Cheese! – No Boil & 1 Dish!
You don’t need the boxed mac and cheese after making this! This Baked White Cheddar Mac and Cheese is so flavorful and straightforward! No need to boil the pasta! And it’s made all in one dish! RECIPE DOWN BELOW:

Baked White Cheddar Mac and Cheese

INGREDIENTS:

For Mac and Cheese:
-16 oz. short cut uncooked pasta (we used ca
-3 cups milk (we used 1% milk)
-2 cups chicken broth (or veggie broth)
-1/2 tsp. garlic powder
-1/4 tsp. black pepper
-1/2 tsp. salt
-2 Tbsp. butter
-2 cups shredded white cheddar cheese
-2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

For Topping:
-1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
-1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
-2 Tbsp. melted butter

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. In a large baking dish add in 16 oz. short cut uncooked pasta, 3 cups milk, 2 cups chicken broth, 1/2 tsp. garlic powder, 1/4 tsp. black pepper, and 1/2 tsp. salt. Stir together, cover with foil, and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until pasta is al dente.

2. While that’s baking make a topping with 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs, 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese, and 2 Tbsp. melted butter. Save for later.

3. To the cooked pasta, ad on 2 Tbsp. butter, 2 cups shredded white cheddar cheese, and 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese. Stir that until melted.

4. Evenly spread the breadcrumb mixture over the mac and cheese. Broil on high for about 5 minutes, but watch it closely so it doesn’t burn.
